How Exactly Does Cashable Work?

Connect to your bank accounts & credit cards

First thing is first. Simply log in to your bank account or credit card's online banking site through our secure interface and we'll connect behind the scenes via Yodlee, our trusted integration provider. We integrate with more than 10,000!

We'll automatically categorize your transactions

Once we've securely connected to your accounts we'll automatically pull down all of the transactions we're able to. We'll automatically categorize these transactions based on our existing data and proprietary algorithm, we'll learn as you correct our assumptions!

Then we'll create your budget

Based on the assignment of your transactions to our standard categories, we'll automatically look at trends in your spending and create monthly budgets for you. You can change them at any time, we just want to get you started!

Finally, we'll suggest some ways you could save money

Once we have an idea of how you're spending your money each month, we'll automatically identify key areas that you could start saving money utilizing our everyday savings opportunities.

We Connect to THOUSANDS of Banks

Through our relationship with Yodlee (the integration provider behind Cashable and many other financial products) we're able to integrate with over 10,000 banks, credit cards, and financial institutions. Many of these banks are international, but we're working to expand our integration footprint to more foreign institutions. If your bank isn't in the list of institutions we integrate with today, please let us know so that we can work to add them soon!
